UK VIDEO CONFERENCING MARKET RESEARCH REPORT

The UK market for videoconferencing equipment and services has experienced strong growth of 39% between 2002 and 2005. Partial year data suggests a further increase of 7%, to take the market value to £216.6 million in the current year. Despite growth throughout the review period, the annual rate of growth has been reduced from 14% in 2002 to an estimated 7% in 2006.

MARKET FORECAST 2007-2011:

MBD expect the videoconferencing market to continue to demonstrate real term growth during the forecast period, although annual rates of growth are projected to decline moderately from 7% in 2007 to 5% in 2011. The value of the market is anticipated to increase by 35% in real terms between the current year and 2011.
