UK RAINWATER PRODUCTS MARKET RESEARCH REPORT

After researching the UK rainwater products market development and taking into account various other factors the following conclusions can be drawn from MBD's report:

MARKET REVIEW 2003-2007:

The market for rainwater products is believed to have increased by 6% to £259.4 million in 2007. This follows growth during each of the previous four years under review. Notable growth of 14% and 12% was recorded in 2003 and 2004 respectively. However more moderate growth of 5% and 7% was recorded in the subsequent two years, partly reflecting a less buoyant construction market.

MARKET FORECAST 2007-2011:

The UK market for rainwater products is anticipated to increase during each year of the forecast period, with annual levels of real terms growth fluctuating between 2% and 4%. In 2012 the value of the market is expected to increase by 3% in real terms to reach £299.1 million (at 2007 prices), representing overall real term growth of 15% compared with 2007. This growth is forecast to reflect increased construction and repair & maintenance activity.
